Bellews Creek Farm

We are a non-certified organic farm. We have been growing vegetables for 28 years as of 2019.”

“We are a local, family produce farm in Hillsboro, providing high-quality veggies to restaurants, stores, and CSAs in St. Louis, Missouri since 1992.”

“We are located near Cedar Hill, MO on Bellews Creek in the Big River valley. We typically grow Winter squash, Tomatoes, Sweet Peppers, Jalapeno/Chipotle Peppers, Garlic, Popcorn, and Dry Beans (black beans & Pinto beans)and some greens early and late in the season.”

“We will be focusing on winter squash for the forseeable future.”

77 acres, 12 acres in grain and vegetable production

  • Encourages neighbors to plant permanent cover to prevent chemicals from neighbor fields to impact his crops
  • Paul is proud of his skills as a machinist and fabricator.
    Many of the tools or pieces of equipment he relies on he
    has either fabricated from scratch or modified. He made
    his own vacuum seeder for the greenhouse, a pepper
    washer and a chile smoker.
