“We are a trans-led project committed to food justice, garden education, and self & community care.”

Feed the People Garden Project was founded in 2017 at the intersection of regenerative agriculture and community.

During the growing season, we host Queers in the Garden, a weekly community event where folks can both help in the garden and take food home at the end of the evening. This is a safe place for folks to come as they are, to learn something new about growing food, and to socialize in a beautiful outdoor setting. Every week there are new and familiar faces. We like to think we are growing growers by giving people the tools and confidence to grow their own food. We prioritize soil health and sustainability when growing food, and we try to make the big ideas of sustainability and regenerative agriculture easy for visitors to grasp and repeat in their own gardens.

Any harvested produce that is not taken home on Thursday evenings is placed on the porch for anyone in the community to come pick up, no questions asked.
