“We welcome you to come visit and buy your raw goat and cow milk from a small family run micro dairy”

Whit’s End Farm is a raw milk micro dairy with 25-30 milking Alpine and Saanen goats and a few jersey cows. We continue to seek knowledge regarding herd health and strive to manage our animals with their emotional and physical wellbeing at heart. We are happy to mentor and sell healthy goats to others who are interested in having a family milker or even to enter the show ring with nationally competitive dairy goats.

We are conscientious about the environment and look for ways to farm that compliment and work with nature not against it. We have not used pesticides or fertilizers on the pastures since we purchased the farm. We drag our fields to spread the manure that is dropped in the pastures to act as natural fertilizer and free range our laying flock behind our hoof stock to aid in insect control. We also compost the manure cleaned out of barn stalls to spread back on the fields and would also be happy to share any extra manure we have for your gardening needs.

What we are most proud of is that we intend to stay at a manageable size so we can treat every animal as a sentient being. We do not want to get so focused on upscaling that we don’t have time to enjoy the animals and share our farm with our friends and customers. We would like our customers to feel as if they are shareholders in our farm and enjoy it as their own. A place where they can come with family and friends to pet the goats and small menagerie of other farm animals. Comfortable enough to throw a blanket out on the ground and even have a picnic or some goat yoga when they visit.
