Volunteer Day at A.C.R.E.S.

This Volunteer Day will take place during A.C.R.E.S.’s open house from 10am-2pm. Volunteers are welcome at any time during this event.

Project: Tree Planting

Activities: Using hand tools to dig holes and plant trees

What to bring:

• water bottle
• hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
• comfortable shoes with closed toes (ground will be uneven and may be muddy)
• gloves (optional)

We will provide:

• gloves
• water
• snacks

Parking:

Street parking available

Restrooms:

There will be a portapotty on site

Mobility & Accessibility Considerations:

• Not ADA compliant, not accessible to maneuver with wheelchair or walker
• Ground is uneven
• Lots of seating available
• Masks are welcome but not required

Children:

Older children are welcome with adult supervision
