Our Annual Gathering is a great opportunity for farmers, local food buyers, and other community food system partners to connect, meet Known & Grown staff, and direct K&G’s priorities for 2026. Spend the afternoon with us at Pierce Creek, owned by Known & Grown farmers Kent & Rachelle, and enjoy amazing, local food among good company.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Known & Grown farmers
  • Sustainable farmers interested in learning more about Known & Grown
  • Local food buyers (grocers, restaurants, caterers)
  • Farmer support organizations
  • Farmers market managers
  • Organizations working in food systems

SCHEDULE:

1-2pm: Networking

Get to know farmers and community partners while enjoying some food and drinks.

2-245pm: Known & Grown Updates

Meet the Known & Grown staff, learn about important Known & Grown updates and programs for 2026, ask any questions you might have, and provide feedback and guidance on where you’d like to see our organization go in the future.

245-4pm: Community Learning Circles

We will break out into smaller groups to discuss topics (generated in real time) that are important to you, related to farming and the food system.

  • Pierce Creek has a large parking lot

Food & Beverages:

  • We will provide snacks, and the first drink is on us. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Children

  • You are welcome to bring children along to this event. Please include them in your registration.

Accessibility

  • The restaurant has an ADA-compliant entrance and accessible parking near the entrance
  • Seating will be available throughout this event
  • The event will be indoors. Masks are not required, but it will be a mask-friendly space.
  • The space may become noisy during networking and discussion times.
  • Gendered, multi-stalled restrooms are available.
