PIE CONTEST RULES

Accepting entries until Friday, April 24th or until full

Entry Fee: FREE
Contest Date: Sunday, May 3rd
Pie Drop-off: 12-1pm
Judging: 1:30pm
Awards Presented: 2:30pm
Live Auction: following award presentation

  • All participants must provide two (2) identical pies. All ingredients and design should be the same. One pie will be sampled by our judges. The other pie will be included in live auction. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Known & Grown.
  • As our auction winners will be taking their pies home, please note your pie dish will not be returned. We recommend a secondhand (thrift shops regularly have these in stock) or disposable dish.
  • Pies must be received between 11am-1pm on Sunday, May 3rd.
  • Pies must NOT require refrigeration.
  • Please cover your pies. We recommend a clear covering so raffle participants can see your pie.
  • A list of ingredients must be included in your application. Please highlight any common allergens. We will NOT share your recipe or ingredients list with any other third party.
  • Both amateurs and professionals are encouraged to participate.
  • You may submit up to 2 different pies. Please submit a separate entry for each pie you enter.
  • Pies will not be accepted without completing the contest entry in advance.
  • All pies will be judged on appearance and taste.
  • Pies will remain anonymous until after the judging is concluded. Identifying information can be added for the auction portion of the contest.
  • 1st Place winner will receive a $95 gift card for a cooking class at Fennel Cooking Studio!
  • Pie Contest participants will receive 1 free festival admission.
