Join Known & Grown STL for our 2026 Spring Farmer Festival! Support our organization and enjoy family-friendly spring activities like live music, kids’ crafts, a pie contest, and a vendor market! You’ll have the chance to meet some of Known & Grown’s network of sustainable farmers, as well as other great local businesses and organizations!

Bring a blanket and chairs to relax in the garden, browse goodies from your local farmers, and eat some delicious food!

We want this event to feel accessible to anyone in the community. Choose the ticket price that feels most appropriate for you. We appreciate the generosity of those who can pay more–you help us keep ticket prices low for everyone else.

Adults & Children 12+: $10-$40

Community: $10

Supporter: $20 | Help us keep ticket prices low.

Activator: $40 | Activates our ability to provide free tickets.

Children 11 & Under: Free

Known & Grown Farmers: Free

Volunteer at the Event

We’re thrilled to have Shamus McFerson providing live music. Plan to bring a blanket or a chair and settle in! He’ll play multiple sets with breaks in between so you don’t miss anything!

Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the event.

BEVERAGES: Natural History Brewing Collective makes low-alcohol beer and non-alcoholic sparkling honey beverages with a focus on sustainable and local ingredient sourcing. @drinknaturalhistory

FOOD: Hand pies from Mister Hand Pie and tamales from The Tamale Man will be available for a suggested donation.

Come with your reusable bag and shop with local farmers and businesses. Additional vendors coming soon!

Can I pet that goat?! Get up close and personal with baby goats from The Stull Farm. Learn all about goats and their silly antics with farmer PJ.

Kids and adults alike can choose from a variety of colorful designs. Let your creativity shine and add an extra splash of joy to your festival experience. Facepainting is free (though we welcome tips for our artist) and open to all ages!

Did you know that worm’s consume food scraps and organic waste and convert it into nutrient-dense, microbe-rich compost? Stop by the Ro’s Wigglers booth to learn all about worms and how they can benefit your houseplants and garden.

Stop by the selfie station to capture a snapshot of your experience!

Join Midtown Community Farmers in sprucing up their hoophouse with a bit of decorative flair. Grab a brush and add your artistic mark! Everyone is welcome to participate. We ask parents/guardians to assist and supervise children with this activity.

Grab a comfy blanket and join local Leviathan Bookstore for an immersive storytelling journey for kids.

Are you a farmer, local business, or organization interested in selling products, leading a fun educational activity, or just connecting with the community? Complete our Vendor Application by Friday, April 17th. Vendor fee: $25 (This fee is waived for Known & Grown farmers and nonprofits.)

Partner with us in support of local farmers, food, and community! Your sponsorship ensures a successful event and supports our mission to empower small-scale farmers, promote local food systems, and build a more resilient community. Sponsorship opportunities include complementary event tickets, increased visibility in the community, and onsite and digital promotion, including Known & Grown’s website, newsletters, and social media.

We are seeking individuals to assist with various tasks during the event. Shifts are typically 1.5 hours and include free admission. Volunteer sign-ups coming soon.
