About Your Farmers
Just A Couple of Fungiโs is a family-founded indoor mushroom farm focused on growing clean, chemical-free mushrooms for both nourishment and healing. What started as a way to provide nutrient-dense produce for their own family has grown into a mission: to bring bold flavor, powerful nutrition, and natural wellness to the local community.
They grow 12โ18 varieties of gourmet and functional mushrooms using organic methods, including Lionโs Mane, Blue Oyster, and Chestnut, and also produce pure Lionโs Mane and Blue Oyster mushroom powders. Their indoor setup is free of chemicals and contaminantsโwe believe mushrooms absorb what surrounds them, so we keep the air, environment, and growing inputs clean and intentional.

Farm Tours occur rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and the terrain. Many Farm Tours include navigating uneven or muddy surfaces, around equipment, and in a range of weather conditions.
We recommend that you bring:
- Close-toed shoes (comfortable for walking)
- Sun protection (cap or hat, sunscreen)
- Water bottleย
- Rain jacket or poncho (depending on the forecast)
- Your family (Children are welcome with adults! Please be mindful of the potential dangers on a working farm, including electric fence, difficult terrain, animals and equipment.)
Please DO NOT bring:
- Dogs or other pets (service dogs, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are permitted)
- Professional camera or recording equipment, photos for personal use are acceptable

We ask for special attention to biosecurity at events with livestock. While this is good practice at all farms, clean shoes and clothes are particularly important due to the presence of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) and other livestock pathogens.
Wear clean shoes or boots that have not been worn on other farms with livestock or livestock buildings, or around a dense population of wild birds. Upon request of the farmer host, you may be asked to disinfect shoes or boots upon arrival. Wear clean clothes that have not been worn around other livestock.
About our Farm Tour Series
Our 2026 Farm Tour Series gives you the chance to visit your local farms in person, get a realistic look at what goes into creating the food you place on your tables, and get to know the real people who produce that food. This series of events showcases the diversity of working farms in the greater St Louis region, including vegetables, livestock, mushrooms, fruits, flowers, and more! The price of your ticket honors a local farmerโs time and expertise, helps them to diversify their revenue, and supports Known & Grownโs ability to continue to offer farmer-focused, community-oriented programming. This is a family-friendly event and a great outing for visitors of all ages, abilities, and interests. All are welcome.
