Or that Three Rivers has a special knack for growing Brussels sprouts? Their pop-up farm stand will be open, so plan to go home with your arms full.
Snacks and beverages will be provided following the tour.

About Three Rivers Community Farm
Three Rivers Community Farm grows high-quality, very clean, and diverse produce for their CSA members, farmers market customers, online store, and pop-up farm stand. Beyond produce, they love forming meaningful relationships with their customers through on-farm events and weekly emails. Their farm has become a community centered around good food, friendship, and support, and a connection with the land that feeds us.
About Your Farmers – Amy & Segue
Amy has farming in her blood, having grown up on a dairy farm in Michigan. After graduating from Calvin College in Grand Rapids MI, she went on to apprentice on several organic vegetable farms in Massachussetts, Michigan and Illinois. She loves all aspects of the farm–from running a small family business to growing the sweetest carrots to building life-long relationships with our customers. The best part? Seeing how the farm has bonded their family for life!
Segue is from Agusacalientes, Mexico and is the youngest of seven children. He came to the United States in 2002 to work at Angelic Organics in Rockford, IL where he met and, the following year, married Amy. Segue wears many hats on the farm: from fixing broken equipment, to growing gorgeous tomatoes, to hustling on a Saturday morning at the Tower Grove farmers market–he loves the diversity of tasks that make running a small family farm challenging and rewarding. He could never imagine as a child that someday he would be a farmer, but working outdoors, being his own boss and working alongside Amy and Diego and Lydia (their children) has been the best part.

About our Farm Tour Series
Our 2026 Farm Tour Series gives you the chance to visit your local farms in person, get a realistic look at what goes into creating the food you place on your tables, and get to know the real people who produce that food. This series of events showcases the diversity of working farms in the greater St Louis region, including vegetables, livestock, mushrooms, fruits, flowers, and more! The price of your ticket honors a local farmer’s time and expertise, helps them to diversify their revenue, and supports Known & Grown’s ability to continue to offer farmer-focused, community-oriented programming. This is a family-friendly event and a great outing for visitors of all ages, abilities, and interests. All are welcome.
