About Chris Wimmer
I am passionate about sustainable, integrated farming systems and have over 30 years of hands-on experience in small-scale agriculture as well as a BS in Agronomy from the University of Missouri. My background spans vegetable production, raising chickens for meat and eggs, caring for hogs and goats, as well as milking and cheesemaking. I’m particularly interested in developing on-farm resources and compost production. I believe in meeting farmers where they are and tailoring support to their unique needs. My broad experience allows me to offer practical, personalized guidance to farmers at every stage of their journey.
