Join us for a day at Sunflower Savannah where we will be assisting Sam and Bill with soil protection and weed management by laying landscape fabric and protecting tomatillos with floral netting. Other work will be available as time allows. Anyone interested can stay to work beyond 2pm.
We suggest you wear a hat and bring a water bottle and snacks or a bagged lunch.
Come ready to work but bring your swimwear, because when the day is done, you’ll have a chance to take a dip in the cool lake.
Sunflower Savannah believes in the continuity of life. Everything serves a purpose and contributes to the well-being of the farm. They have been a part of the Known & Grown program since its beginning in 2019.
